Freedom Creek Farm

Everybody has something that means freedom to them. Freedom is part of a dream. A dream for me is this little plot of earth that I have envisioned in my head as an orchard. For more than 20 years it's been there- a beautiful imaginary orchard that I have studied and planned how to grow these plants. I come from a long line of gardeners including my dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa and I'm sure their fathers as well. The pressure is on to grow beautiful plants. This very spot was someone else's garden in the past. So, how does it take so long to make progress? Well, maybe failure and failed attempts are part of the process. I can tell you plenty of what not to do in growing plants and mortal enemies of precious ripening produce. Regardless of where it started, you have your dream. Start small, one project or vegetable at a time. Study it, attempt it, protect it, maintain your sucess, and go to the next one. What are you waiting for?
